(This is reproduced from the posting I made on my Facebook Page on 15th May 2026.)

We recently gave some guests an introductory tour of our UniVet Medical Centre, which is set for its official opening in a few weeks’ time. The animal hospital, one of the biggest and well staffed in Malaysia, comes with cutting edge facilities such as a fully outfitted in-house laboratory, modern surgical theatre, intensive care unit (ICU) and the latest CT and X Ray scan machines and operative equipment. It’s located at Block B10, 30 Jewels Commercial Centre, Icon City, 47300 Petaling Jaya.

My Group is motivated to invest heavily in veterinarian care because more and more people see their pets not just as animals, but as family members. Better facilities also mean better outcomes for their beloved companions. Our healthcare division is also in the process of setting up and acquiring veterinary clinics in strategic locations in the Klang Valley, which will do basic procedures and consultations.

They will become feeders to the medical centre for more serious cases or emergencies. Note that the 8-storey veterinary institution offers a holistic range of treatment, from clinical and preventive care, advanced diagnostic and surgical services as well emergency care as well as a veterinary pharmacy. Alongside the medical grandeur are our 14 highly qualified veterinarians who will champion the lofty standards of UniVet and our clinics.

Hospital Director Dr Erni Wati and senior vet Dr Hoor Chee Mun, both with extensive years of experience in animal care, lead the UniVet medical team with a clear purpose of protecting the health of animals and pets. Their passion is but a reflection of our belief that advanced veterinary care is no longer a luxury, but a necessity. I believe a truly kind person will have an innate empathy for the vulnerable beings who can’t speak for themselves.
