Mr. Foong graduated with a Honours Degree in Building Economics & Quantity Surveying from the United Kingdom in 1982. He is a registered Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors Malaysia and a Chartered Quantity Surveyor registered as a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), United Kingdom.
He has extensive experience in the property and construction sectors, having held key senior managerial positions in companies like PileconEngineeringBhd, Visage Group and Mayland Group. Among others, he had overseen the development and construction of the 28-storey Office Tower for Dewan Bahasa danPustaka in Kuala Lumpur and a Fishing Port in BatuMaung, Penang. In the Mayland Group, he oversaw the development and construction of projects with a cumulative GDV of over RM1 billion.
Datuk Dr. Dennis Ling holds a PhD in Manufacturing Engineering and a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical and Manufacturing from Universityof South Australia in 2006 and 1999 respectively. Prior to joining HCK Properties, Dr Ling has been working in various industries in Australia including semiconductor, automotive and building materials manufacturing.
He was exposed to various roles from engineering, procurement, product development and project management. His experience in property involves composite building materials technology and property procurement and property management.
With over 18 years of international experience, Amanda is a results-driven professional in communications, marketing, branding, and commerce. She has successfully managed leading brands locally and internationally in the hospitality, tourism, lifestyle, property, retail, and energy sectors. Amanda, known for her deep understanding of business and marketing needs, had previously ventured into entrepreneurship with her boutique marketing and PR consultancy. A frequent speaker at conferences, she shares her expertise on various topics in marketing and communications.
A chartered accountant by training, she received her Masters of Commerce and Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) from Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane.
She’s registered as a Chartered Accountant with the Malaysia Institute of Accountants and is a Certified Practicing Accountant of CPA Australia LTD .MsHii used to head the Audit Department of an Australian Chartered Accountant firm, specializing in Solicitors, Real Estates and Travel Agencies Trust Accounts.
She was also a senior tax agent and auditor with 10 years experiences in the same firm which has over 1,000 clients. Subsequently she joined HCK Capital Group where she was the Director for Finance.
Mr. Wong qualified as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 1990 and is a member of Malaysia Institute of Accountants (MIA) and a member of Malaysia Institute of Certified Public Accountant (MICPA).
He has over 35 years of working experience he has served and held leadership positions such as Group Financial Controller & Group Company Secretary with a Public Listed Company, Group Chief Financial Officer and Group Corporate Services Director for Information, Communication and Technology Sector and a Seafood Processing Group prior to joining the HCK Capital Group.
Ms. Wendy has over 23 years of experience in the property industry – managing multi-scale projects and a large team of direct reports as well as reports from cross-functional teams.
Her career in property management started off from way back in 1998. She had managed a well-known condominium at Taman Mayang Mas and expanded her portfolio in 2007 by adding another six apartments and four landed (guarded & gated) developments to it.
In 2013, she switched from the field of Property Management to Sales & Marketing, where project marketing and sales strategies were the main core. She adapted well to this change, and has now transitioned where her current portfolio includes Business Development & Business Alliances.
Mr. Chen joins HCK as Projects Director for the Properties Division and has been involved in the construction industry since 2001, taking in fields as varied as oil and gas, telecommunications, and retail fit-out. He has a decade’s experience in property development and his roles have included infrastructure and main building works contractor.
His area of expertise include project management, site operation and product planning. He graduated with an Advanced Diploma of Technology (Building) before obtaining a MSc in Construction Management and Economics from University of Greenwich, UK.
Ms. Chin has close to three decade’s experience working in the property industry and is primarily responsible for ensuring the smooth operations of HCK’s Sales Administration and Credit Administration departments.
This includes overseeing the sale and sub-sale documentation process for HCK’s various properties as well as attending to all relevant correspondence from bankers, lawyers and purchasers. Ms. Chin’s responsibilities also include monitoring progress billing and payment collection from purchasers. She also actively assists the Project and Marketing departments in the application and renewal of the developer license, sales and marketing permit and statutory reports.
Stella Lau Kah Wai, 53, was appointed as Managing Director of SEGi University & Colleges in 2022.
She attained her Bachelor of Arts (BA) Operations Research from the University of Canterbury. In a career spanning nearly three decades, her professional journey has been a perfect blend of industry, academics and management experience.
Well-reputed for walking the talk, her commitment includes expanding student access to higher education, catalysing academic innovation, and championing transformative learning to achieve outstanding student experience.

Cheryl Chong, joined the Group in 2000 as a Financial Controller and has more than 30 years of experience in the fields of accountancy, financial services and corporate services. She was re-designated on 1 July 2014 as the Group Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Prior to joining the Group, Cheryl worked for a main board public listed company in Malaysia as the Financial Controller and in one of the top international accounting firms. She is a Certified Public Accountant with the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a Chartered Accountant with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. She also holds a Master of Business Administration (International Business) from University of Southern Queensland, Australia.
