(This is reproduced from the posting I made on my Facebook Page on 17th August 2026.)
Silence has a sound. Calm, beautiful, and strangely full. I remember standing at a riverbank in a leafy forest years ago, caught in one of those rare moments where time just.. stands still.

I felt it again recently, treading up the sloping hills of Semenyih, Selangor. Nature underfoot, terrain all around – and there it was: the community I will be building, Hiijauan Heights. (The “Hiijauan” word has two instead of one “i” to denote the surname “Hii”). The sales gallery for the project at the site will open very shortly.

The planned undertaking will be a colonial inspired architecture in a gated enclave, with townhouses, high rise towers and commercial units. I bought the 35.26 acres freehold land 12 years ago, and I feel this is the right time to launch the mixed development. The township will have a total gross development value (GDV) of RM1.6 billion and take about 7 years to complete.
It’s one of HCK Capital Group’s projects under its new Tech & Trees series – smart homes designed for people who want to live with modern conveniences and yet be immersed in nature, not just to look at it from a balcony. Broga Hill rises right behind the site. Hiijauan Heights will be joining a growing skyline of successful townships in the vicinity, with the University of Nottingham campus just next door. It’s a good company to keep.
They say every great development begins with a vision. I think the finest ones end with an appreciation of nature.
