Datuk Clifford Hii
Group Executive Director, Corporate Strategies & Alliances
Mr. Clifford Hii, a legal practitioner admitted to the Bar of Sabah and Sarawak, graduated with a Bachelor of Law Degree from the Queensland University of Technology, Australia.
He also graduated with Masters of Business Administration from the University of Southern Queensland. He has served in senior positions in management and media firms prior to joining HCK Capital Group.
Mr. Foong Peng Yew
Managing Director, Property Division
Mr. Foong graduated with a Honours Degree in Building Economics & Quantity Surveying from the United Kingdom in 1982. He is a registered Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors Malaysia and a Chartered Quantity Surveyor registered as a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), United Kingdom. He has extensive experience in the property and construction sectors, having held key senior managerial positions in companies like Pilecon Engineering Bhd, Visage Group and Mayland Group. Among others, he had overseen the development and construction of the 28-storey Office Tower for Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka in Kuala Lumpur and a Fishing Port in Batu Maung, Penang. In the Mayland Group, he oversaw the development and construction of projects with a cumulative GDV of over RM1 billion.
Dr Dennis Ling PhD
Group Executive Director, Property Division
Dr Ling holds a Ph.D in Manufacturing Engineering and a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical and Manufacturing from University of South Australia in 2006 and 1999 respectively. Prior to joining HCK Properties, Dr Ling has been working in various industries in Australia including semiconductor, automotive and building materials manufacturing. He was exposed to various roles from engineering, procurement, product development and project management. His experience in property involves composite building materials technology and property procurement and property management.
Ms. Adeline Hii
A chartered accountant by training, she received her Masters of Commerce and Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) from Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane. She’s registered as a Chartered Accountant with the Malaysia Institute of Accountants and is a Certified Practicing Accountant of CPA Australia LTD .MsHii used to head the Audit Department of an Australian Chartered Accountant firm, specializing in Solicitors, Real Estates and Travel Agencies Trust Accounts. She was also a senior tax agent and auditor with 10 years experiences in the same firm which has over 1,000 clients. Subsequently she joined HCK Capital Group where she was the Director for Finance .
Mr. Mak Ngan Hoe
Executive Director, Chairman’s Office & Investments
Mr. Mak has more than 18 years of experience in the fields of corporate finance, corporate planning, treasury, investment analysis and investor relations. He has worked across various industries including stockbroking, banking, property development and resort operations in both private and public listed entities.
Ms. Eileen Yeoh Soo Chin
Senior Director, Group Finance
Ms. Eileen Yeoh is a member of Fellow of Chartered Certified Accountant, UK (FCCA) and Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA). Her experience spans over 20 years in the field of accounting, auditing, treasury, and corporate finance which specialized in project financing, debt capital raising, corporate and debt restructuring and treasury cash management. She began her career with Moore Stephens Public Accountant Firm in 1998. Subsequently, she joined LCL Corporation Berhad as an Accountant in 2006 where she was later promoted to Head of Corporate Finance, responsible for overseeing and managing the Corporate Finance for the Group of Companies. In 2011, she joined YKGI Holdings Berhad as a Financial Controller, where she headed the Corporate Finance in the Group of Companies, and was promoted to Senior Financial Controller in 2013.
Mr. Lee Kee Hin
Director, Corporate Creative Marketing
An MBA holder from the University of Southern Queensland specialising in Strategic Marketing, Mr Lee had prior to this, worked in another public-listed company which was also involved in properties and education. Among others, he managed the group’s brand communications. Before that, Lee had spent close to 10 years in SEGi University and Colleges in the creative communications department. His stint there coincided with the tertiary education provider leapfrogging to become a major player in the industry. He had also managed the internal servicing and research team within SEGi’s Group Marketing.
Mr. Felix E.B. Lee
Executive Director, Education Division
A qualified lawyer, Mr. Felix Lee has vast experience in the field of private education ranging from the setting up and management of Private National type schools, International Schools and Private Colleges in Malaysia. Mr. Felix Lee has been in the private education arena for 26 years and has assisted many private schools and colleges to become synonymous with excellence in their respective fields and even exported Malaysian education to the shores of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.A much sought after speaker and trainer on ‘Presentation Skills’ and ‘Teaching methodologies for private educational institutions’, Mr Felix is also a frequently invited Keynote address speaker in the International Educational conferences including the recent British Education Technology conference, BETT Asia 2019. His experience has resulted in him being invited by Discern Publishing House to write a chapter for them on ‘Youth & Education’ in their book, Malaysia: The Next Chapter where Felix expressed his thoughts on this subject. Felix has received many accolades for his achievements which are testament of his passion in this field with awards for Branding, Signature Educational products, Entrepreneurial-ship and Educational Leadership.
Mr. Jason Bek

Jason is a passionate and competent educator with over 24 years of experience in Australia and Asia. He had worked in schools that stretch across all demographics from those considered disadvantaged to schools that are highly diverse socially, culturally and religiously. During his tenure, he oversaw numerous educational accreditations and had produced students with strong values, confidence and academic excellence. In addition to being a dynamic educator, Jason loves challenges and adventure, and believes in giving his utmost to anything he does.
Mr. Jonathan Chong
Director of Operations, Education Division
Mr Chong brings more than 10 years of experience to the Education division as he held many senior positions in various industries including education, IT, printing press and advertising. After getting his Masters from Australia, he started an IT business before moving into strategic planning. With strong business and operation understanding of the K-12 education landscape in Malaysia and Singapore, he was part of various strategic teams which set up new campuses and international schools.
Mr. Koay Wei Chin
Director of International Affairs and Development, Education Division
Prior to joining HCK, Mr Koay has already gathered more than 7 years’ experience in the education industry. His last position was as College Director at Raffles Education Corporation in the Beijing division. Before that, he worked in a number of roles at UCSI Education Sdn Bhd and SEG International Bhd after being in the shipping and logistics industry (Maerskline), and retail industry (Crabtree & Evelyn). Mr Koay holds a Master of Business Management from SEGi University and a first class honour Bachelor of Art in Business Management from University of Sunderland, United Kingdom. He is also a Certified Green Project Manager.

For more than 17 years, Christopher has been helping people to achieve their dreams and become top income earners as distributors in numerous companies. From humble beginnings, Ang achieved his first million dollar sale in just three years after he took his first step into the network marketing industry. Prior to joining Focus Malaysia, his expertise have brought him to more than 10 countries and bring in millions of sales from around the globe. To date, Christopher has contributed more than RM200 million in sales as a network marketing professional in less than 3 years. Also, he had conducted more than 500 training sessions and seminars domestically and regionally.
Mr. P Gunasegaram

Gunasegaram has vast experience in the areas of journalism, writing and business consultancy which spans over 40 years, having started his career as a journalist and moving on to hold various positions in major publications. He is also well-known as a columnist on both business and socio-political issues.Prior to joining Focus Malaysia, he has worked as a journalist, analyst and columnist since 1978 in Malaysia, setting up a business news portal, KINIBIZ, in Feb 2013. He has worked as an editor at major publications in Malaysia, including The Star, The Edge, Malaysian Business and Business Times. He has a BSc in physics from the University of Malaysia, a Diploma in Education, a certificate in economic and business journalism from Columbia University, New York, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Mr. P.Chilvan S.Pitchaimanickam

Chilvan has over 22 years of experience in construction sequence, project management, estimating, contract negotiation/administration, budgeting, warranty management, crew supervision, technical support and client relations in main building works with the ability to manage multiple large-scale projects and a large team of direct reports or cross-functional team.
Mr. Teo Tien Su
Executive Director, Operation & Business Development
Mr Teo has more than 25 years experience in the food & beverage industry. He started his career with Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur’s F&B division in 1990 where he stayed for five years. He then moved to Coast Fusion Restaurant as manager between 1996 to 1998. Between 1998 and 2002, he was with Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, where he served as store manager before being promoted to area manager. He subsequently moved to Gloria Jean’s Coffee in 2002 as area manager and subsequently, operations & development manager.

Ms. Hew Moi Lan
Group Chief Executive Officer
Ms. Hew is a fellow member of The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, United Kingdom and a Chartered Accountant with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. In 2005, she attained her Master of Business Degree from University of Newcastle, Australia.
Her tenure with the Group dates back to 1986 when she joined Systematic Business Training Centre, now known as SEGi College Kuala Lumpur. With more than 25 years of experience in the education industry, Ms. Hew has brought an immense wealth of experience and knowledge into running of the Group. In March 2013, Ms. Hew was honoured aLeadership in Education & Training Excellence Award at the Global Leadership Awards.
Ms. Cheryl Chong Poh Yee
Group Chief Financial Officer
Cheryl Chong joined the Group in 2000 and has over 20 years of experience in the fields of accountancy, financial services and corporate services. Prior to SEGi, Cheryl worked for a main board public listed company in Malaysia as the Financial Controller and in one of the top international accounting firms. She is a Certified Public Accountant with the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a Chartered Accountant with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. Cheryl also holds a Master of Business Administration (International Business) Degree from University of Southern Queensland, Australia.
Dr. Lisa Tan Saw Poh
CEO, SEGi Group of Colleges
Dr. Lisa Tan holds a DBA from University of South Australia and MBA from the University of Bath, UK. She also has a Diploma in Education from National University of Singapore and B.Sc (Hons) from the University of London. Dr. Lisa has worked with the Singapore Ministry of Education and private institutions of higher learning for more than twenty (20) years and has vast experience in the field of education and management. Her experience also stretches to governmental bodies in Malaysia, China, Philippines, Vietnam and Ghana, Africa.
Dr. Doris Pamela Alexius
Senior Vice President
Dr. Doris Alexius holds a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Madras University, India, a Master of Business Administration in International Business from RMIT, Australia and a Doctor of Business Administration from University of Newcastle, Australia. A science graduate trained in genetics, microbiology, laboratory technology and biochemistry, she diversified to complete her MBA to gain a business perspective in managing Allied Health Science programmes. Her Doctoral research is on ethics and corporate social responsibility. Dr Doris Alexius has over 20 years experience as a tertiary educator and administrator.
Mr. Cheah Teong Keat
Principal, SEGi College Penang
T.K. Cheah was formerly in the IT and manufacturing industry before his foray into the education line. Since then, he has been involved in lecturing, training and human capital development. Some of his initiatives include setting up and running a human capital development business for a renowned education group and heading an educational institution which focuses on working adults and post graduate courses. His previous appointments include Senior Director of Post Graduate Studies for the INTI Education Group and Chief Operating Officer of MIM-INTI Management Institute. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from RMIT University, and an MBA specialising in Information Technology Management from Maastricht School of Management. He is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Business Administration from University Utara Malaysia.
Ms Doreen D’orville

Doreen D’orville holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern Queensland and a BA (Hons) in Business Administration from a UK university. She is also a certified trainer and has conducted training for several multinational companies. She has over twenty-five years of experience in education in areas of administration, teaching and management. She believes in inspiring students with renewed enthusiasm and passion for learning to bring out the best in them.
Norman Chu Su Jiu
Deputy Vice Chancellor, SEGi College Kota Damansara
Mr. Chu holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Iowa State University, USA. He is currently pursuing his Doctorate of Business Administration with Universiti Utara Malaysia. Norman has 4 years of industry experience as a Civil Engineer in both the USA and Malaysia before joining SEGi in 2005 as a lecturer for Civil Engineering programme. He then became the Head of the School of the Built Environment, Deputy Registrar and then Registrar before assuming his current position in July 2013. He is an Associate Member of the American Society of Civil Engineering (ASCE) and a Graduate Member of the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
