Green spaces are crucial in enhancing air quality, well-being, and sustainable urban living. At e.Sentral SmartCity, our first smart city development, we have gone beyond the 10% minimum landscape requirement, dedicating 17% of the total area to thoughtfully designed green spaces.
The highlight? A 12,000 sqft natural green sanctuary at the podium level, offering residents a place to unwind, recharge, and reconnect with nature.
Why Does Green Space Matter?
Urban developments often struggle to balance progress with nature. Concrete-dominated environments contribute to heat retention, air pollution, and increased stress levels. Research has shown that access to green spaces improves mental health, lowers urban temperatures, and encourages active lifestyles. At e.Sentral SmartCity, the focus is on creating a harmonious balance between technology and nature, ensuring that you always get the best of both.

Designing for Sustainability and Comfort
Beyond the landscape, sustainability is embedded in e.Sentral’s design choices. The paint used throughout the development is low in VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds), ensuring walls do not emit harmful substances that affect indoor air quality. Outdoor areas are coated with anti-fungal paint, reducing mould growth.
Waterproofing measures are also in place in all wet areas, including toilets, scupper drains, and concrete roofs. This prevents water leakage, mould growth, and structural damage, ensuring long-term durability and comfort for residents.

The Future Is Green
As our first smart city development, e.Sentral is setting the stage for a more sustainable and liveable urban future. By combining nature, technology, and thoughtful urban planning, it exemplifies how developments can be built without compromising the environment.
The future is green, and it starts with 12,000 sqft of natural beauty.
