The Joy of Helping Those Kids

Nigel Jones and his wife Joon Moi were running the Salvation Army in Kuching when I first met them many years ago. They were taking care of a bunch of kids (homeless or from problematic families) and I could see the passion they had for their job and the kids.

Over the years, I have the joy of helping those who need financial and other forms of assistance. I have seen the small ones grow up, get an education and a job and in some cases, start their own families.

It’s a pleasure to receive the occasional updates from Nigel, and to know that the former inmates at Salvation Army Home are doing well.
