Learning science can be amusing and exciting – both inside and outside the classroom.
Young scientist wannabes can now tune in to our WHACKY SCIENCE! series to join the respectful-yet-funny, Prof Z, as he conducts experiments of sorts with items that can be found around the house.
Made possible by our teaching staff at the Peninsula International School Australia (PISA) Malaysia Campus and Imperial International School, this educational series is testament that science can be learnt anywhere, anytime!
The fortnightly WHACKY SCIENCE! series debuted on June 13 on both the PISA Malaysia Campus and Imperial International School’s official Facebook pages with the airing of the first episode entitled “Surface Tension”.
An education arm of the HCK Group, PISA Malaysia Campus which is located at Setia Alam in Selangor is the first education institution in Malaysia to offer the highly-regarded Victorian curriculum in Malaysia.
A boarding school open to Year 1 to 12 students, PISA also offers the Victoria Certificate of Education, a university entrance exam recognised by leading tertiary institutes in Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States.
Meanwhile, the Ipoh-based Imperial International School is the first of the newly established Imperial Education Group of schools in the country.
The Imperial’s curriculum is based on the prestigious International Primary Curriculum and the Cambridge International Curriculum leading to International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) examinations and the Cambridge A levels.
