There are good news to share with parents of our pupils at the Peninsula International School Australia (PISA).
Firstly, PISA has been fully reopened on July 22 after a more than four-month ‘break’ to comply with the Movement Control Order (MCO).
And secondly, we are adhering strictly to the standard operating procedures (SOPs) spelt out by the Education Ministry, particularly on social distancing.
As we welcomed back our pupils, parents can rest assured that the teachers are abiding by various safety precautions.
In fact, all our teachers had been briefed on the best practices as well as how to guide the pupils accordingly with regard to social distancing.
This includes daily screening of everyone’s temperature in the morning and implementing a one-metre gap between desks.
And that’s not all as our teachers are also constantly reminding our pupils on the importance of the 3Ws – Wear, Wait, Wash:
✓ Wear a face mask over their nose and mouth.
✓ Wait one-metre apart and always avoid close contact.
✓ Wash their hands often with soap or use hand sanitiser.
Similarly, strict SOPs will be put in place at our Imperial International School Ipoh when classes resume on August 10.
