Sacred Heart Reunion
In early april 2009, I was back in my hometown Sibu, Sarawak for the annual ‘Ching Meng’ (Festival of the Ghosts) pilgrimage. When both of your parents have passed on, you don’t go back to your hometown as often you used to when they were alive.
My ex classmates took the opportunity to organize a reunion dinner for Sacred heart Secondary School, Class of 1975. Time really flies.
You meet your ex classmates and you remember about the good old days. You meet those how are balding and you are glad your own head is still full of hair.
You meet your former teachers and you wonder how life would have been if they had spared the rod and spoiled the kids in us. But of course we suddenly remember we all only live once.

1. With Rev Bro Albinus, the principal during my time at Sacred Heart. We still keep in touch, through the charity causes we both believe in.
2. Who would have believed this used to be a bunch of naughty and rebellious youngsters?
